Folios 151-152: Thomas Graves, HMS Brunswick, Yarmouth Roads. Report that having received Orders from Rear Admiral Sir Richard Keats on 31 December 1808 by HMS Tartarus while Victualling under [Sayero?] Island, to proceed to Gothenburg with HMS Lynx & HMS Kite then under my Command. On the 4 January 1809 I weighed with HMS Lynx only, HMS Kite having telegraphed that from the state of the weather and the [?] she could not then proceed. We parted from HMS Lynx in the night. On the 6th January 1809 he saw HMS Lynx again, HMS Kite and the Ned Elvin sufficiently to Windward to weather Anholt Island and he has no reason to doubt they either reached the Rendezvous or the North Sea after an unremitted endeavour from the 4 January 1809 to 9 January 1809 to reach Gothenburg. [Total of three sides with the difficulties of the voyage].
