Folios 90-91: Henry Richard Glynn, Regulating Captain, Poole Rendezvous. Reports that Lieutenant Robert Ellary impressed John Bridges, aged 19, from the Rose in June the previous day when she was bound for Colchester. Bridges produced the enclosed protection, and according to its terms he will be sent to Portsmouth.
Folios 92-93: enclosed with folios 90-91. Printed protection issued by the Admiralty to John Bridges in April 1807, stating that he is apprenticed to Joseph Woodward, Master of the Rose in June of Colchester. Includes a physical description of Bridges.
