Folios 479-480: Edward Grey, Regulating Officer, Hull. Confirming that he has received the enclosed certificate of 2 seamen by neutral vessel from Embden. They will be sent to the Nore tomorrow on the Hebe tender. Mr Debman, the master also told him of 2 other British seamen sent by the British Vice Consul. Lieutenant Hunt was sent to bring them to the Rendezvous but they had left and gone on board an American ship, claiming to be American. Mr Knox, the American Consul concurred and the men were put onboard the tender awaiting instructions from the Admiralty.
Folio481: enclosure with folios 479-470. Letter dated 14 March 1804 by Thomas Debman, Hull, master of the brig Jung Orau Margaritta from Embden by desire of the British Vice Consul C F Schroeder. He took on board Francis Lee Vassua and William Browe who confirmed they were British. The consul gave him a certificate confirming that William Browe was from Whitby and the other from Falmouth.
Folio 482: enclosure with folios 479-480. Daily report dated 15 March 1804 by Edward Grey of the ships and vessels in the Humber.
Folio 483: enclosure with folios 479-480. Certifying that John Anthony and Francis [Pahl?] on board the [?] Margarita captain J Debman are deserters from HMS Avenger, Captain Francis Johnson Snell were arrested by Lieutenant Ewell Tritton.
