He has obtained intelligence from the Providence and Renown revenue cruisers that there was a war with France and he has directed the Master of this Transport to go to the first safe port in England. He has written to the Commissioner for conducting HM’ Transports at that Port whether to proceed to Portsmouth with or without a convoy
