Description

Folios 417-418: John Jackson, 36 Broad Street Buildings.

Covering letter enclosing an order from Admiral Lord Keith appointing Captain Daniel Oliver Guion of HMS Eurus, to HMS Trusty.

Folios 419-420: Enclosure with folios 417-418: Appointment dated 9 September 1801 by Lord Keith, HMS Foudroyant, Bay of Aboukir,to Daniel Oliver Guion, Commander, HMS Eurus. Captain Alexander Wilson of HMS Trusty, has been appointed to HMS Alexandria (previously the French ship Regenerée), and Guion is directed to take over HMS Trusty.
