Folios 247-248: John Gore, HMS Medusa off Greenhythe.
In addition to the three men named in a previous letter he requests that William Blackstone also be discharged from HMS Matilda to HMS Medusa. Again he has Lieutenant Langan's consent. Also mentions that he has completed provisioning and taken on water against the wishes of the Master attendant at Woolwich who objected because of the shallowness of the river.
