Folios 286-287: Anselm John Griffiths, HMS Atalante, Spithead. Relative to John Connor, Boatswain of HMS Atalante respecting his servitude and age. He considered him at that time as meriting the relief he solicited. But as he now speaks from his own observations, which was not the case before, he now considers him a worthless good for nothing character and is he has not already been given a Hulk, that he does not consider him worthy of any protection.
