Folios 226-227: Thomas Graves, 22 Arundel Street, Strand. The following are his answers to what has been alleged against him by Mr Gilchrist in his letter to the Admiralty dated 2 February 1799, which he returns [not present]. He begs leave to say, is a gross calumny, and libellous. [Total of three plus sides about the claims made by Mr Gilchrist. Mentions Mr [James] Sykes his agent, Admiral [John] Colpoys, HMS Hanibal [HMS Hannibal]].
