Folios 214-215: Thomas Graves, HMS Cumberland, Spithead. As per regulations and Instructions Istates that Jonathan Crofts, Yeoman of the Powder Room, late Yeoman of the Sheets on HMS Prince George, deserted from HMS Cumberland between 23 November 1799 and today. Is inclined to believe he accompanied William Thorpe, Ship's Corporal, whose desertion he reported on 24 November 1799.
