Folios 245-246: Sir Erasmus Gower, HMS Triumph, Spithead. Lieutenant Parkinson, appointed 5th lieutenant, HMS Triumph, 13 March. HMS Triumph did not leave Spithead till 29 March. Reports Mr Tackle the Purser dined with him at Portsmouth. Unable to find him to order him onboard. He’d left Portsmouth when he searched following their letter 1 May.
