Folios 222-223: Thomas Le Marchant Gosselin, HMS Syren, off Cape Barfleur. Reporting the recapture of the Robinson transport No 111 as she steered for Cherbourg. 95 French Offices and soldiers, one Lieutenant and twenty nine men of the 46th Regiment and the Master with her former crew. Sailing from the West Indies under HMS Ganges convoy. Parted company, arrived at Bantry, Ireland 30 September. Left 3 October put into Falmouth 9 November, leaving 3 December. The prisoners took possessions of the ship off Portland.
