Folios 57-60: John Gore, Cadiz. A detailed account of the action off Cape St Vincent of 7th October 1795 involving HMS Censeur (Captain John Gore), HMS Fortitude (Captain Thomas Taylor) and HMS Bedford (Captain Alexander Montgomerie) and in company with HMS Lutine and HMS Tisiphone and 69 sail of Merchant vessels.
Folio 61: enclosure in folios 57-60. Return dated 7 October 1795 of the killed and wounded on board HMS Censeur from Captain John Gore. Killed 6, Wounded 12, Officers killed none, Wounded 3rd Lieutenant Thomas Gwilliam and Boatswain William Downey.
