Folios 24-25: William Fothergill, HMS Argo, Plymouth Sound. Provides a duplicate of his appointment of Alexander Rodgers as purser of HMS North Star and hopes they will put him on their list of pursers.
Folios 26-27: enclosure with folios 24-25. Appointment dated 26 October 1814 by William Fothergill, HMS Argo, Senior Officer of HM ships and vessels in Jamaica. Appoints Alexander Rodgers as purser on HMS North Star to replace David Jones who has been invalided from the vessel.
