Folios 444-445: Alexander Fraser, 2 Piling Street Edinburgh. Covering letter for the enclosed for information, respecting Volume No 12 of Naval Statutes said to be supplied to HMS Halifax. It would appear that the Volume in question was never supplied. There was no Volume left to him by his predesser Captain John Thomson [Thompson].
Folio 446: enclosure with folios 444-445A. Letter dated 16 December 1814 by George Grey, Portsmouth Dock, to Captain Alexander Fraser. Reply to letter dated 8 December 1814. Acquaints that the Books of Admiralty Statutes are not supplied from this office, nor does it appear that the Volume No 12 was received here on the paying off of HMS Halifax on 5 May 1813.
