Folios 289-290: Robert Worgan George Festing, [HMS Psyche], Andover, Hants. As His Royal Highness the Prince Regent has been pleased to acknowledge the services of all the Field Officers in the Army who assisted in the capture of Java by ordering them to be presented with Medals. In the absence of Captain George Sayer of HMS Leda from England, as next in seniority of the Captains of the Navy who served in the taking of Java and he wondered if the Admiralty are going to consider a similar medal.
