Folio 253: Richard Foley, HMS Zenobia, Gibraltar Bay. Acknowledges letter dated 3 May 1814 relative to his having made use of the private signal to HMS Duke of Kent without observing the alteration that had taken place. This was entirely from his omitting to look at the alteration attached to the sheets, supplied to him by Rear Admiral Samuel Hood Linzee.
