Folios 178-179: Edward James Foote, HMS Sea-horse [Seahorse], Motherbank. Although he is still of the same opinion he expressed in his letter of 5 May about the allowances for carrying General offices, his friends Rear Admirals John Thomas Duckworth and Sir Richard Bickerton disagree. Generals Sir Ralph Abercromby, Hutchinson and Sir John Moore told him he should accept a bill from General Abercromby for the usual amount.
