Folios 168-169: Edward James Foote, HMS Sea-horse [Seahorse], Spithead. Reports that on 25 April Admiral the Earl St Vincent ordered Captain Foote to place himself under his command, but then put to sea two days later without leaving any instructions what the Captain was to do when his ship was ready for sea. The Seahorse will be paid tomorrow and be ready for sea the next day, asks for directions. Her books will be lodged in the Commissioner's office today ready to be sent to the Navy Board.
