Description

Folios 269-270: Edward James Foote, HMS Niger, Sheerness. Concerning a HMS Niger man, who has been in a French prison and John Sawyer.

Folios 271-272: enclosure with folios 269-270, Letter dated 4 June 1797 by John Sawyer, Plymouth Sound. Presently on board HMS Childers wishes to return to HMS Niger. Asks about John Sawyer and mentions John Rogers.
