Folios 267-268: Edward James Foote, HMS Niger, in dock at Sheerness. Reports the arrival of HMS Niger's men from HMS Plover having walked from Deal. These men have expressed in the strongest terms their abhorrence of the mutineers at the Nore. They have been on board five H.M ships since they were were landed at Hastings. Recommends Richard Whellan worthy of promotion to Gunner.
