Folios 251-252: Edward James Foote, HMS Niger at Spithead. Reports having put into the Cove of Cork with most of the Liverpool trade. Indefatigable compliance with Vice Admiral Kingsmills orders sailed Cork with the Hardi (French prize) under convoy and anchored at Spithead. Is forwarding copies [not present] of HMS Niger's weekly accounts and defects. Reports that the copper on HMS Niger's hull are close to the Garboard streak and that many nails are started since the ship was last docked Indefatigable September 1795.
