Description

Folios 194-195: John Ferrier, HMS York, Carlisle Bay, Barbadoes. Reports arrival with HMS Eurus and 90 other merchant ships, another two ships had sailed with the convoy for the West Indies. He has directed Captain Ross of HMS Eurus to proceed with the ships for Tobago, St Vincent and Grenada after seeing them into safety, to make the best of his way to Fort Royal Bay, Martinique, and Captain Mitford of HMS Matilda to proceed with the ships for Antigua, Nevis and St Christophers in like manner to Martinique to which Island he will proceed to.
