Folios 190-192: Edward Fellowes, HMS Alarm, Portsmouth harbour. Regarding the case of John Heyliger serving on board HMS Alarm, who was left on shore at Madiera, by HMS Maidstone on her passage to the coast of Guinea, that he was sent by the Vice Consul of that Island to Barbados where he was received by the Naval Hospital. Mr Robertson, the Surgeon, on 1 May, applied to Fellowes in Carlisle Bay that Heyliger may be received on board HMS Alarm being unable to join his own ship.
