Folios 187-188: Charles FitzGerald, HMS Brunswick, Portsmouth Harbour. Requests that Mr Rowe, Boatswain of HMS Artois, is appointed to the vacant post of Boatswain on HMS Brunswick, the previous Boatswain being appointed to HMS Prince. HMS Brunswick is ready for painting, but this cannot be done until she is scraped, which needs the people from HMS Active who have not arrived. Requests men are ordered to be sent onboard for that purpose.
