Folios 80-81: Jonathon Faulknor, HMS Diana, Plymouth Sound. Responding to their letter asking why he had sailed with men onboard intended for the fleet under Earl Howe, he encloses a copy of his letter to Sir Peter Parker, Commander-in-Chief at Portsmouth, on his arrival a St Helens. Their orders and those from Admiral Peyton had been for him to quickly proceed to Plymouth.
