Folios 252-253: Alexander Fraser, HMS Redoubt, Woolwich. Reports he has put the floating battery into commission on 12 July, and is using seamen from HMS Savage to fit her out until he receives further orders. As no warrant officers have yet been appointed, recommends William Jump, one of the Riggers in Woolwich Yard, who has served as Boatswain of several ships and who is recommended by the Master Attendant.
