Folios 586-587: Thomas Swinnerton Dyer, HMS Driver, Spithead. Reports the arrival of HMS Driver from Halifax which he left on 9 November 1810 for St John, New Brunswick for the protection of the Trade destined for the United Kingdom as ordered by Admiral the Right Honourable Sir John Borlase Warren Bart. and KB, we remained four days and then preceded off Head Harbour to enable ships to join ready at St. Andrews but no vessels for convoy he preceded to this anchorage.
