Description

Folios 576-577: Edward Stirling Dickson, HMS Stately, Spithead. Daniel Hopkins Seaman of HMS Stately having presented a letter to him dated 3 December 1810 in reply to his letter dated 2 December 1810 wherein he inclosed his petition stating his situation when a Prisoner in France after the loss of HMS Magnificent [Wrecked 25 March 1804].

Folio 578: enclosure with folios 576-577. [Proforma] Document to be sent to the Paper Office when any Paper is sent away in original. Date -11 December 1810, From - Captain [Edward Stirling] Dickson of HMS Stately, Subject - Enclosing a Petition from Daniel Hopkins a Seaman belonging to HMS Stately, requesting that he may be allowed his wages for the time he was a Prisoner in France, Date 13 December 1810, Nature - Refer to the Navy Board.
