Folios 239-240: Ross Donnelly, HMS Ardent, Spithead. He acknowledges a letter from the Admiralty requesting him to receive two yawls for the use of the squadron under the command of Sir Home Popham. He confirms that the boats are now on board but points out that once HMS Ardent's own small boats are on board there is scarcely room to move.
