Folios 207-208: William Brooking Dolling, HMS Trompeuse, Nore. He acknowledges a letter dated 26 December 1805 from the Admiralty, which he has only just received, from Mr Robert Prince, Master and Owner of the Ship Thomas of Liverpool, concerning the release of 6 men detained by the [?] of Africa which vessel belonged to HMS Trompeuse. He refers them to his letter of 20 December addressed from The Nore which enclosed copied of letters addressed to Captain George Salt who commanded HMS Success which explains all the facts apertaining to the case referred to.
