Folios 184-185: Manley Dixon, Swansea. He writes that a young seaman of 20 years of age, who had a Protection given he was the mate of the vessel Hammond had in fact enrolled as a Sea Fencible under Captain Manley's command. Captain Manley has discovered, however, that the young man has been idling his time away on shore. He has therefore, handed him over to Captain New of the Impress Service
