Folios 172-173: Charles Dilkes, Plymouth Dock. Although he was given a commission to command HMS Hazard on 11 February, the ship has not yet appeared in port and so he is unable to take up his command. He has explained his situation to Admiral Young, Commander in Chief at Plymouth. He will join her as soon as Admiral Cornwallis informs him at which port she has berthed.
