Folios 149-150: Stephen Thomas Digby, HMS Vestal, the Downs. He writes in haste because, following his last letter his Purser Mr Derrett has returned to his ship and so he asks the Admiralty to ignore his last letter. He goes on to express his hope that the Admiralty will look favourably on Mr Wilson, his clerk, and discharge him into HMS Argo, unless given his length of service and good character they think he deserves promotion.
