Folios 504-505: John Drew, HMS Cerberus, Plymouth Sound. His ship is the smallest class of frigate to carry 18-pounder guns, and hers are four hundredweight heavier than the old 18-pounders, which detracts from her sailing qualities. Asks if she can be fitted with the old 18-pounders, and with carronades on her Quarterdeck.
