Encloses an order from Rear Admiral Sir John Orde to Captain John Draper to go by express from Plymouth to Torbay in order to deliver despatches to Rear Admiral Sir Roger Curtis and a list of Captain Draper's expenses. Asks for him to be reimbursed.
Folio 493: enclosed with folios 491-492. Captain John Draper. List of expenses incurred in travelling by express from Plymouth Dock to Torbay and back by order of Rear Admiral Sir John Orde, by way of Ivybridge, Brixham and Totnes.
Folio 494: enclosed with folios 491-492. Order dated 9 May 1797 from Sir John Orde, HMS Cambridge, the Hamoaze, to Captain John Draper, HMS Porcupine. Orders Captain Draper to go by express to Torbay in order to deliver despatches to Rear Admiral Sir Roger Curtis and bring back any despatches from him.
