Folios 556-557: George Duff, HMS Glenmore, the Nore. When the cook was preparing food, a wave hit the ship and entered into the pot spoiling the meal. He allowed the men an additional allowance of butter and cheese but this has not been allowed by the Victualling Office in the Purser's accounts. He will be expected to pay it out of his pay which he thinks is wrong as it was no one's fault.
