Folios 544-545: George Duff, HMS Glenmore, Woolwich. He believes that the design of the carriages for cannonades was intended for use in ships with common gun ports rather than in frigates where the gun ports are enlarged to accommodate cannonades. He acknowledges the order to go to the Nore which he will do as soon as the wind allows.
