Folios 538-539: George Duff, HMS Ambuscade, the Nore. He is sending a letter from the Surgeon, and he recommends that the man is examined for Greenwich hospital and sent there from Sheerness sick quarters.
Folios 540-541: enclosure with folios 538-539 dated 2 January 1796 from Thomas Grey, Surgeon, HMS Powerful to Captain George Duff, HMS Ambuscade. He recommends Francis Leech, Seaman, should be admitted to Greenwich Hospital as he has an eye infliction which is leading to total blindness. He will be sending him to sick quarters meanwhile.
