Folios 534-535: William O'B Drury, HMS Powerful, Cork. He parted from Vice Admiral Colpoys as ordered by signal and arrived here for water as the wind direction prevented reaching a port in England. Off Cape Clear he encountered a French warship but was not able to catch up with her by the time dark fell at the latitude of Scilly. Admiral Kingsmill wishes to send HMS Powerful westward in search of enemy vessels, which he will be ready to do once he has received a supply of water.
