Folios 158-159: Archibald Dickson, HMS Megaera, Spithead. He found John Redhead on HMS Royal Sovereign and he has joined his ship as Boatswain. Sir Peter Parker gave an order to discharge the former Boatswain without waiting to be relieved and Phaebus Maunder, Master's Mate to act as Boatswain. He asks for Mr Maunder to be put on the list for a Boatswain's warrant.
Folios 160-161: enclosure with folios 158-159 dated 27 April 1796 from Sir Peter Parker, Admiral of the White and Commander in Chief of vessels at Spithead and Portsmouth, onboard HMS Royal William at Spithead, to Phaebus Maunder to act at Boatswain of HMS Megaera.
