Description

Folio 122-123: Maurice Delgarno, HMS Leander, the Nore. He has arrived with a convoy of ships from Elsemere. He is sending a list and his journal. The ship ran aground at Anholt as he had not pilot depite several applications for one. The ship is undamanged and he is snding a list of defects.

Folios 124-125: enclosure with folios 122-123 dated 3 July 1796 from Christopher Peek, Carpenter. All is in good order except the main mast which is rotten and needs surveying.
