Folios 104-105: Messrs Clementine and Dinton, Clements Inn. Captain Lucius Henry Dawson served at Captain of HMS London from 21 December 1794 to 11 June 1795 when he was sent to act as Captain of HMS Santa Margarita. As he did not return he was not able to retrieve his journals. He is sending Captain Griffith's certificate of his service.
Folio 106: enclosure with folios 104-105 dated 11 June 1795 from Captain Edward Griffith, HMS London, Spithead. He confirms that Lieutenant Lucius Henry Dawson served on HMS London from 21 December 1794 to the date of the certificate.
