Folios 59-60: H.D.Derby, [Henry D'Esterre Darby], HMS Adamant, Spithead. He has arrived from Lisbon with a convoy of 21 of which he is sending a list. He is sending a copy of Admiral Vandeput's order. He is also sending HMS La Sybille's week account and report on condition which he received in the Tagus. He met Admiral Colpoy's squadron of 4 ships WSW of Scilly.
Folios 61-62: enclosure with folios 59-60. Copy order dated 4 June 1796 from Vice Admiral George Vandeput, on board HMS St Albans in the Tagus, to Captain Henry Darby, HMS Adamant to accompany a convoy of about 20 merchant ships from the Tagus to Spithead.
