Folios 434-435: James Douglas, HMS Saturn, Portsmouth. Acknowledging letter, reports of John Little who he requests appointed fifth Lieutenant. Was made a Lieutenant 1793, stands about 1408 on the list and lives at 37 Suffolk Street, Charring Cross.
Folio 436: enclosed in folios 434-435. Admiralty memorandum. Mr Douglas, request to be complied with. Lieutenant Little may be appointed 4th Lieutenant, HMS Saturn. The present 4th, Lieutenant Charles Johnson was only appointed to her 28th of last month and was his first commission as Lieutenant therefore suppose it can be of no great moment to him whether he is 4th or 5th. Captain Douglas seems to wish to have Lieutenant Little with him.
