Folios 231-232: John Dilkes, HMS Madras, Deptford. List of four men his Surgeon tells his are entirely unfit for HM service. Seeks directions about disposing of them. Peter Brown, ulcerated leg, received from the Enterprise as one of the Warwick quota. John Barrett, debilitated and wounded in the back: a London Volunteer from the Enterprize. John Charlesworth, ulcerated leg for many years, a volunteer; to the Industan [HMS Hindustan], came from sick quarters. Joseph Walker, brought on board by a party of the Exeter Reg. as coming from Lieutenant Burchill at Birmingham but did not receive any bounty: he was invalided last war from HMS Cormorant on account of the same complaint that he now labours under, arising from his former business, manufacturing White Lead.
