Description

Folios 221-222: Sir Archibald Collingwood Dickenson, HMS Megaera, Spithead. His Gunner has asked him to forward the account of his services, adding he is very sober, attentive good officer and a Gunner for many years.

Folios 223-224: enclosed in folios 217-218. William McKenzie, Gunner, HMS Magaera. Twenty seven years Navy service. Seventeen an Officer. He can produce a testimony of his good conduct from Rear Admiral Parry for HMS Lynx sloop, from Captains Edward Peckenham, Charles Boyles, Robert Forbes, William Brown, Henry Blackwood and Archibald Collingwood Dickenson for HMS Zebra and HMS Megaera. Asks to be appointed to a higher rate ship.
