Folios 185-186: Captain Thomas Dewey, Exeter Regulating Officer. Says he has given the necessary Directions according to the copy of the Order of Council in contained in their Lordships letter 15 June.
Folios 187-188: enclosed in folios 185-186. Captain Thomas Dewey, Exeter Regulating Officer, 5 June 1795. Says he’ll strictly comply with the Act of Parliament enabling Magistrates to raise and levy people therein described to serve in HM’s Navy enclosed with their letter, 1 June.
Folios 189-190: enclosed in folios 185-186. Captain Thomas Dewey, Exeter Regulating Officer, 29 April 1795. Acknowledges letter 27 April with the Council’s order to release ships from the embargo. Says he will take care to comply with the directions given.
