Folios 263-264: Sir Andrew Snape Douglas, HMS Phaeton, Spithead to Sir Thomas Paisley. After parting with the admiral, he took 2 prizes off French la Fraternite escorting French La Charante to French West India Islands. Whilst at Guersey reports that French frigates had been seen off Aldernay and met up with HMS Flora and Sheerness. Reported many French ships in Cherbourg.
