Folios 235-236: John Doling, HMS Swift, Rio de Janeiro. Reporting his arrival with convoy ship Boddam bound for Madreass. He left Commodore Rainisis to the westward with most of his convoy of East India ships. He has been welcomed by the Vice Roy Cond de Bezende. He plans to leave in the morning with the Baddas , Essex and Contrator in convoy.
