Folios 160-161: Edmond Dod, HMS Dicator, Spithead. Giving an detailed account of his recent voyages to Martinique and Africa.
Folio 162: enclosure with folios 160-161: Letter or packet from Edmund Dod for government. He was sent the [Quebeck?] to him off the Saints to bring 8 French and 2 American prisoners to be carried to England. He encloses a list of the ships of the convoy that sailed from St Christopher and a list of those brought into port; copies of the orders from Vice Admiral Jervis with a copy for Captain Bridges to convoy the vessels bound up the St George's Channel; return of the invalids of the army; men women & children on board HMS Ceres; the number of French inhabitants on board each of the cartel ships and the papers respecting the African forts. In a separate parcel he encloses the journal of his recent voyage.
